When in the playground we have the use of the adventure trail, climbing frame and an area where the children can practice their balancing jumping in our tyre area.

Children will be provided with a choice of sandwiches on either white and brown bread. Fillings on offer include tuna, ham, cheese, egg, marmite, chicken, cheese spread, cucumber tomato, sweetcorn and honey. This is followed by a choice of fruit. We also provide a drink of either fruit squash or water during their stay at the Club. We understand how important a healthy diet is for children, so always make sure a healthy option is available. Once a week we give the children the opportunity to make their own sandwiches and discuss healthy eating.

For breakfast club we provide a selection of healthy cereals and wholemeal toast. To drink we have milk or water.

Collection from schools

Juniors Children will make there own way to Busy Bees After School Club at the end of the School day or an alternative Club and must report in to the Team Leader. The Club operates from the School dining hall.

Collection arrangements by Parents or Guardians

Children will be cared for at the Club until collected by a named adult. In the event of a change in collection arrangements written notification of the changes will be required beforehand.

Collection from Busy Bees after 6:00pm will be charged at £2 for every minute per child you are late. If your child still has not been collected by 6:20pm and we have been unable to make contact parents, guardians or emergency contacts then it is our responsibility to hand them into the care of the Social Care.

It is vital that if your child is not at school and will not be attending Busy Bees After School Club that you let us know before 2:30pm at the very latest on the office number so we can inform relevant staff. Calls after this time may not be received and this could risk the safety of your children.
